JORDI COLL I GRIFOLL

Founding partner of the Architectural Practice.

Born 30th July 1958 in Vilanova i la Geltrú.

Registered Architect No. 20.560-5, qualified 20th November 1990 (Vallès School of Architecture).

Doctorate course on Analysis of spacial architectural structures (1991-1994).

Research Proficiency certificate (September 1994).

Direcció General d’Universitats (Universities General Directorate) Research scholarship (years 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1994).

Associate Professor in the Department of Structures in Architecture, teaching “Structures II” and “Metal Structures” subjects at Vallès School of Architecture (autumn 1994 to spring 1997 semesters).

From 1992 to 1998 he has worked as executive secretary for the Associoation of Structures Consultants of Catalonia (ACE).

From 1991 to 2017 he is architect for the building works of Sagrada Família Temple, acting as Project Coordinator Architect for the agreement between Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Construction Board of the Sagrada Família Temple. He is responsible for the IT solution of all the vaults and railings in the Temple with high-tech computer programs.

From October 2005 to January 2017 he has worked as Head architect of the Projects Department at Sagrada Família Temple, leading a team of 16 architects and 2 building engineers as well as the modelers’ workshop comprised of 10 members

From 2013 to 2016, responsible for the Temple’s main façade project: Façana de la Glòria (Glory façade).
